Hanking Electronics is looking for a Software Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent to be included in the Application team in Milan (Italy). As member of the Application team, the candidate will be involved in all the software/firmware activities to produce all the collateral needed to introduce the products on the market and to support the customers. The candidate will be also involved in laboratory activities, so passion in electronics is required. This person will also have the responsibility and accountability for the MEMS sensors integration into customer platforms.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Master Degree on Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Position Description:

• Embedded software design and coding
• Participation in code reviews
• Bench and field testing
• Writing and/or running test protocols
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation
• Ability to test, debug and integrate on embedded systems
• Position may require periodic travel for customer support

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with MEMS sensors is a must
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Engineering
• Ability to develop Android applications is a must
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
• Knowledge of C/C#/C++ language
• Knowledge of Linux device driver development
• Experience with ARM microcontroller
• Experience with communication protocols such as UART, RS232, USB, I2C, SPI
• Ability to read hardware schematics and troubleshoot using Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers
• Experience with version control
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated effectiveness in working with external customers and partners, especially in working on-site for technical support and driving resolution to technical issues

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin language
• Experience in developing for electronics platform like Arduino or Raspberry PI
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
• Knowledge of Unity
• Knowledge of QT
• Knowledge of BLE
• Passion in electronics
• Experience with FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS
• Experience with the management of embedded devices
